Ballycotton Lifeboat and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) are a soley funded by donations and fundraising activities and rely on them to operate their vital lifesaving service.
Ballymaloe House have supported Ballycotton Lifeboat with an annual fundraising gala dinner since opening their Yeats Room restaurant in 1964 and host this event every February, not only because we wish to support and raise awareness and funds to help the incredibly important work our local lifeboat station and crew do, but from a personal point of view, Myrtle and Ivan Allen met at a Ballycotton Lifeboat fundraising event at Ballymaloe House in the early 1940's when the house was owned by the previous owners.
Tickets are €110pp and thanks to the many generous sponsors for the evening, the majority of this ticket price goes directly to the running costs of Ballycotton Lifeboat.
Cocktails and Jazz on arrival, a delicious especially prepared 4 course Ballymaloe gala dinner menu, casino and entertainment and live music from the 'Runaway Retros' after dinner.... and all in a good cause! For 2019 the evening is MOULIN ROUGE themed.
