Midleton

Midleton is a thriving business town, which has retained its old identity. Wide streets, colourful shops and friendly people who savour the taste of unhurried life, will delight the visitor here.

A trip to the beautifully restored Old Midleton Distillery is a must because legend has it that Irish whiskey was invented here. The town has a great dining scene and it’s very popular farmers market on Saturdays attracts fantastic artisan food producers.

Midleton is also the perfect family holiday destination with Blue Flag beaches, galleries, Fota Wildlife Park and the fun filled Trabolgan Family Centre holiday village all nearby.

Getting to Midleton

The town is a 25 minute drive from Cork City and 35mins from Cork Airport and is part of Ireland's Ancient East. You can also take bus 261 from the bus station at Parnell Place or a train from Kent Station to get there.
