Official tourism website for Cork, Ireland

Climb aboard a kayak at the Boardwalk on Lapp's Quay with local qualified guides who will bring you on an unexpected and exciting journey exploring Cork's north and south river channels. The city's history is interwoven with the amalgamation of clusters of islands and what better way to get a proper sense of this than to get a guided tour from the water itself.

Of course its not all serious history and cultural lessons, kayaking with Jim Kennedy and his instructors at Atlantic Sea Kayaking is great fun and if you're lucky you'll get a friendly seal or two swimming alongside as you paddle.

The lads provide all the safety and weather gear you need. Booking in advance is essential. Trips leave from the Boardwalk on Lapp's Quay usually just after high tide (which you can check from the main menu in this app) so you can get under all the bridges!
