Official tourism website for Cork, Ireland

Youghal, the gem of Irelands Ancient East,  a truly unique place with miles of sandy beaches and a rich medieval history. It is Youghal ’s rich history that has brought us the Youghal of today – a distinct and unique place, blending a modern town centre, busy with tangible historic character and curiosity, complemented by the beaches and waterside amenities of a seaside suburb.

Youghal is a 45 minute drive east from Cork City and Cork International Airport. Bus 240 leaves Parnell Place bus station in the city, approximately every hour. Youghal is the most easterly town in Cork and is part of Ireland's Ancient East.
