Official tourism website for Cork, Ireland

About ten minutes south of Clonakilty and about 2kms beyond the village of Ardfield lies one of the Rebel counties most underrated and under-utilised beaches. Nestling between two lush green headlands, one of which contains the iconic Galley Head lighthouse, the water here is exceptionally clean and suitable for swimming in good weather.

The beach has a public toilet but there are no shops or any other businesses nearby so stock up on supplies in Clon before you arrive.
