A popular, public, sand and pebble beach in east Cork about a 10 minute drive from Ballycotton village and 20 minutes from Midleton. A lifeguard is on duty during the summer months.

There are male/female toilets and free parking.

There's a small shop nearby selling drinks and snacks and in summer there are often mobile vans serving chips, burgers, soft drinks, tea/coffee and other refreshments.
