The CoCo Comedy Club is proud to present: Daniel Lukas

Daniel Lukas is a German comedian making waves in the Irish and UK comedy scenes.

He discovered his love for comedy during the pandemic, when he began creating satirical skits on TikTok that quickly went viral and gained a large following.

After the success of his TikTok videos, Daniel broke into the Irish stand-up comedy scene, quickly establishing himself as a rising star by making it to the finals of every new talent competition in the country, including Show Me The Funny 2022 and Cherry Breakout Act of the Year 2022. He is now a resident comedian at Cork City's CoCo Comedy Club, where he has opened for notable acts like Killian Sunderman and Chris Kent.

Daniel's comedy is both intelligent and relatable, often dealing with important issues such as his country's past and the failings of the Irish government. He's not afraid to tackle controversial subjects, but always does so with a light touch and a good-natured charm that endears him to audiences of all backgrounds.

However, he is also equally adept at tackling everyday issues, such as traffic lights or public transport, in a humorous and engaging way. Daniel has a knack for finding the humor in even the most frustrating situations.

In addition to his stand-up performances, Daniel has also gained recognition for his satirical live show, "Immigrants Ruin this Country LIVE", which lampoons the growing anti-immigrant sentiment in Ireland. The show premiered at Smock Alley Theatre to overwhelmingly positive reviews, cementing Daniel's reputation as a comedian who is unafraid to tackle important and controversial topics.

Daniel's work has been positively mentioned in a number of publications, including CorkBeo, DublinInquirer, and Irish TV channel TG4. He is a fresh and exciting voice in the world of comedy, with a unique perspective and a talent for delivering both thoughtful and entertaining material.
