Closing out the inaugural Cork Roots Festival will be a free concert of folk and americana roots music sung and played by some familiar faces of the Cork music scene; Caoilian Sherlock, Patrick Freeman, Robbie Barron and lap steel player David Murphy will be joined musicians who will ramble through the catalogues of John Prine, Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris and many more.
It's going to be a Rootenany of foot stomping country music and soulful melodies, finishing off a celebration of the best roots music Ireland has to offer.
