Our final summer concert as part of the 2023 Tóstal an tSean Thoir Summer Seisiún Concert series is the wonderful Miscellany of Folk. We're delighted to welcome back Benny McCarthy, Billy Sutton and Eddie Costello back to Youghal!

Founded in 2022, well known Waterford Accordion musician Benny McCarthy joins forces with multi-instrumentalist Billy Sutton from Newfoundland, on Fiddle, Bodhrán and Mandola, and Singer/Guitarist Eddie Costello to bring a delightful mix of traditional music from different parts of Ireland an Newfoundland.

This special collaboration is by three highly accomplished music makers, all of whom are professional artists who have been performing all over the globe for several decades. As solo artists they have all recently released solo albums of varying styles and traditions. With this deep well of music and experience they have come together to deliver an enjoyable and unique concert experience.

Help us celebrate 40 years of Youghal Comhaltas in 2023 and make sure your summer includes incredible music and fun. Our own Ceolta Sí and younger groups will also be involved and don't forget we make a lovely cup of tea!
