Cliona Halley & Darragh Carey-Kennedy and Conal O'Kane kick off our 2023 Tóstal an tSean Thoir Summer Seisiún Concert series and we are in for a real treat!

C?liona Halley (Concertina) and Darragh Carey Kennedy (Banjo) are regular faces at Brú na Sí Cultural Centre - Cliona herself attended classes there when she was younger. They are members of the group Fiárock, who previously visited Youghal and performed in St Mary's Collegiate Gardens in the summer of 2021. Fiárock have also been chosen as one of the 5 finalists of the 2023 Goderich Celtic Roots Festival - Robinson Emerging Artist Showcase.

Cliona and Darragh will be joined by fellow musician, Conal O'Kane (Guitarist) for what will surely be an fabulous evening of music and entertainment. Conal was born in South Philadelphia but has now settled in Limerick and is very active in the Irish Traditional Music scene as part of the award winning band Goitse.

Help us celebrate 40 years of Youghal Comhaltas in 2023 and begin your summer with music and fun. Our own Ceolta Sí and younger groups will also be involved and don't forget we make a lovely cup of tea!
