Youghal, a beautiful seaside town in County Cork, Ireland, is known for its rich history and stunning beaches. This summer, visitors and locals alike can look forward to a fantastic Summer Seisiún concert series showcasing the best of traditional Irish music. Tóstal an tSean Thoir (Gathering the Ancient East), our annual cultural festival, includes live performances, master classes, workshops, summer camps, cultural exchanges, pub sessions and more! In 2023 we have an amazing series of live concerts planned. They will take place on Monday evenings throughout the summer of 2023, beginning in July and running through to August. The concerts will be held at the Brú na Sí Cultural Centre, a spacious and welcoming venue that is well-known for hosting cultural events. Tóstal an tSean Thoir 2023 is part of our year long celebration of 40 years of Youghal Comhaltas. Each week, a different group of talented musicians will take to the stage at Brú na Sí to perform a mix of traditional Irish tunes and new music inspired by the Irish tradition.
