BrightSide Exhibition launch, with wine reception, on Thursday 9th May,6pm. With the theme of perspective and what helps us change ours to a more positive outlook, artists Angela Wilson and Claire CiCi O’Shea bring you this uplifting journey to the BrightSide. Known for their brightly coloured aesthetic, the artists took inspiration from the sea and as well as their upbringings on opposite sides of the country in bringing this colloraboration to life. More than just an exhibition, you can also... -Take a free artist guided walkthrough tour of the exhibition on Wednesday, 15th & 22nd. While you sip a vino, the artists will take you through the exhibition giving insights into their inspiration and artistic processes. -Support local suicide awareness & prevention charity Lisheens House by taking part in the BrightSide art workshop on May 12th for no fee but with a suggestion of donations to Lisheens House, and also purchasing unique art cards created by the artists with all profits going to the charity. -Take part in a collage techniques workshop with CiCi on Sunday 19th May -Learn Cyanotype with Angela on Sunday 26th May. At a cost of just €25 per workshop all materials are provided, and you will go home with your own unique art piece created under artist guidance. Booking is essential for all tours and workshops. The art workshops and tours are for adults only on this occasion, no under 18s.
