Official tourism website for Cork, Ireland

It was always said that it was probably the longest street in Ireland so if you put up two murals at either end of the street declaring it, then that's that settled!

Blarney Street is one of the oldest residential areas in Cork and counts writer Frank O'Connor among it's former residents.

This is one of a pair of murals, the other mural being at the other end of the street near the school close to the junction with Strawberry Hill. The murals are identical but with the languages reversed.

Created in April 2014, in association with Blarney Street Community Association.
