Located at the gates of Elizabeth Fort, Old Bear is steeped in history – originally named Ye Olde Bear after the battalion serving in Elizabeth Fort, next door, the bar has gone through a number of name changes while always retaining the distinct character of the original bar. With a new revamp, it has re-opened as Old Bear to continue serving the people of Cork and visiting customers.
