There has been a pub on this site since 1825 and Fred Zeppelins was established in October 1997. Freds is known throughout Ireland and beyond as one of the liveliest bars in Cork with reasonable prices and an electric atmosphere at weekends. Freds also has a small capacity venue 80 where the overhead weekly Singer Songwriter Open Mic is held every Tuesday Night.
In the bar there are a wide selection of beers, cocktails and our famous shots such as the Super Special with Fred Absinthe - guaranteed to hit the spot and you can expect to hear Alternative Rock, Indie and Metal interspersed with everything from Ska, Punk and Classic tunes from all eras.
