Bastion has recently received a ‘Michelin Bib Gourmand‘ one of only two in Kinsale and only one of 16 in all of Ireland. Paul and Helen are very proud to have received this accolade in their first year but will continue to strive for success and keep pushing the boundaries of great food, wine & service.
Now in our second year Bastion is delighted to have retained its Michelin Bib Gourmand for another year giving us the confidence to once again spread our wings.
Bastion is ever evolving and has recently started serving its seven course tasting menu which runs along side our seven course vegetarian tasting & our al a carte both tasting have a choice of optional wine pairings to accompany your meal.
Bastion has a hundred strong wine list, many served by the glass along with our very popular prosecco on tap.
We make everything we serve in house from the bread at the start of your meal to the chocolate served at the end.
The entire staff here at Bastion take pride in giving our customers the best possible experience we can, once you come through our doors it is our mission to make you feel like time has stopped for a little while.
We are open Wednesday to Sunday from 5pm on wards. Five course tasting prixe fixe menu for €45 from 5-6pm.
