Cork band Boa Morte released their fourth album ‘The Total Space’ in 2023 on UK label, Gare Du Nord records. A review in RnR Magazine (4 Stars) said ‘like Nick Cave circa the Skeleton Tree; beset by quiet regrets and the secrets of nature ‘The Total Space’ bears us to a peaceful eternity.’

Boa Morte spent 2023 promoting the album with a series of gigs, in particular with an elaborate once-off show at The National Sculpture Factory which was produced by artistic director Peter Power. Single releases from the album included ‘Hard to Know’, ‘Dark is’ and ‘Mountain’ which all garnered airplay on RTE Radio, BBC Radio 6 and elsewhere.

An extended reworked version of ‘A Cloud of Stars / 2122’ was recorded exclusively with composer Justin Grounds for the 25th anniversary celebrations of Cian Ó Cíobháin’s landmark show An Taobh Tuathail on Raidió na Gaeltachta.

Boa Morte are currently working on songs for album number 5 and you can expect to hear some of this new material in this intimate show.
