Official tourism website for Cork, Ireland

Situated on the main road from Cork to Kerry, at approximately the half way point, lies the town of Macroom. The town is a main stop for those touring around west Cork and heading for Kerry. Macroom lies in a valley on the river Sullane, a tributary of the River Lee. Granvilles Bar and restaurant is situated at the top of the town, in the shadow of the remaining archway of Macroom Castle, and owners Paul and Leonie Granville have created a charming and unique setting in this small stone building.
