Multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Martin Leahy opens the night with his compelling music and socially conscious lyrics. His powerful song Everyone Should Have A Home, written about Ireland’s housing crisis, has become an anthem for change. Since May 2022, he has protested weekly outside Dáil Éireann by performing the song, garnering international media coverage. Martin has had the honour recently of Christy Moore recording one of his songs called ‘Snowflakes’ on his 2024 album and at his live gigs.
