This Sunday 22nd, 4pm-6pm, join us as we take the plunge for Mallow Search and Rescue. What better way to kick off the festive season than coming together, giving back, and getting outdoors. This Christmas, Jump for Fun, Plunge for a Cause. Get the gang together for what will be a great community event. You do NOT have to get in the water to partake, there will be plenty of cheering needed as well as enjoying the festive music, refreshments, and nibbles provided. Remember the bigger the turnout, the more we raise for an incredibly deserving cause. Mallow SAR is a team of selfless volunteers who dedicate their time to providing life-saving missions in the community and wider region. They are on call 24/7, 365 days of the year working tirelessly around the clock to rescue and reunite loved ones, and in the hardest of times, bring peace and closure to grieving families. Mallow SAR is completely voluntary and is run mostly on contributions and fundraising with little to no funding. They are now at their busiest time of year and they need our help now more than ever.
