Youghal Medieval Festival is 13 years old this year and the festival still creates the excitement and anticipation that it held from year one.

This year it was decided to bring forward the multi-award winning event by two weeks, giving everybody a chance to have a final hurrah of festive activities before preparation for "back to school".

Also, it increases the likelihood of beautiful sunshine like that of 2018and is a long weekend. So it is all positive for this year's activities, which will include:

Medieval Re-enactors with their daily living, fun, games and battles.

Our Birds of Prey – get up close and personal for a picture with the Eagle.

Kiddies archaeological dig.

Balloon magic.

Talks, Walks, Tours & Story Telling.

Gala Concert.

Artisan Foods Stands.

Art & Craft Stands.

Living working blacksmith.

We have a wonderful new addition to our programme of visitors this year – "Farmyard in your Schoolyard – watch out for the Alpacas wandering about!

Never miss an event or new attraction in Cork.
