For the final instalment in our 2019 Opera Concert Series, Cork Opera House presents a concert performance of Puccini’s Tosca. A tragic tale of love, betrayal and deception, Puccini’s masterpiece is both thrilling and dramatic. The score is perhaps Puccini’s most lavish, featuring two of his most famous arias – Tosca’s despairing Vissi d’Arte, the tender and moving E lucevan le stelle and the powerful chorus of the Te Duem in the Finale of Act 1. Each of the concerts in the 2019 series will once again feature our very own Cork Opera House Concert Orchestra led by acclaimed conductor John O’Brien, a chorus from Cork Operatic Society, and internationally celebrated soloists. €30 & €35* *Tickets may be subject to a booking fee
