LUNCH: Wednesday to Friday – 12.15pm by Tony Layton With the subject of homelessness and shelters so topical, this is a moving and humorous portrayal of a night in a shelter. The play is set in a Cork homeless shelter. On this cold winter night, each has a different reason for being there. It is a sensitive portrayal of women with problems. Two of them are having to come to terms with recent events which have shattered their lives. The other cannot forget her failing because once a year for fifty years she has been vividly reminded. This play, a prize winner in the Drama Association of Wales One Act Play Writing Competition 2000, is the last in our 2019 Summer Season. It is adapted and directed by our Artistic Director, Dolores Mannion. TICKETS: LUNCH: €12.50 (includes light lunch and show). Lunch is served from 12.15pm. Show starts at 1pm.
