It offers everything a visitor needs for a relaxing, get away from it all' holiday, in an area of spectacular natural beauty. The village has a Mine museum, mini-supermarket, three traditional pubs, two cafes and a restaurant that serves food from morning until 9pm
Strand View Cottages are newly-constructed and are fitted-out to a 4-star standard. Each cottage sleeps 6. Strand View 1 & 2 have oil-fired central heating and open fires. Strand View 3 has electric storage heating and a coal-effect electric fire.
